  6.   The triumphal progress of wireless telephony is evidenced in
  7. every daily paper. New devices, improved methods, record
  8. performances crowd the news, though but a twenty-four hours'
  9. wonder.

  11.   The master wizard of all radioists, Guglielmo Marconi, is
  12. again on the job, and forecasts the early attainment of complete
  13. directional control of radio. He is working to perfect a system
  14. by which radio messages will be received only by the persons for
  15. whom they are intended. His experiments, extending over a
  16. considerable period, will soon be put to the acid test on his
  17. specially fitted yacht Electra, on which he will cruise down the
  18. coast of Europe and Africa. Messages will be sent from Wales and
  19. other distant places to test his theory. The secret is being
  20. closely guarded, but the method is said to depend on a new kind
  21. of receiving instrument, whereby stations can tell the point of
  22. the wave's origin to a fraction of a second of arc.
